The campaign slogan Building a Place to Belong was strategically selected to highlight our focus on building connections with the youth in our community.
We know that these relationships, coupled with evidence-based programs, lead our Club members and their families to purpose, confidence, and belonging.
The Cindy Platt Boys & Girls Club of Transylvania County is proud to launch Building a Place to Belong – our most visionary growth initiative since opening our doors in 1999. This exciting expansion reflects our unwavering commitment to creating brighter futures for the youth of our community.
In recent years, our children have faced unprecedented challenges. Yet, we see this moment as an opportunity – a chance to reconnect, rebuild, and reimagine what’s possible for every child and teen in Transylvania County. With your support, we can ensure that all young people, especially those who need us most, have a safe, supportive place to grow, learn, and thrive.
Through this bold campus expansion, we will dramatically increase our capacity and double our impact – reaching 25% of the county’s school-aged youth every year. Guided by the voices of local educators, counselors, and parents, we are responding to the real needs of our community with hope, determination, and action.
We invite you to read more about our vision and join us in creating a stronger, more inclusive future for our kids. Together, we can build a place where every child belongs.
An expanded Clubhouse and a home for our teens…
